Free Cloud Desktop

Do you still think of your computer desktop as being a device? Do carry around a laptop or tablet PC to have access to what you need or just have to wait until you get back home or to your office? Do you find that sometimes you are somewhere and you need something from a computer but the computer is simply somewhere else?

Why can’t your computer desktop be smart enough to come to you? Well, your new one can. Cloud Desktops, also known as Virtual Desktops, are smart enough to do that right now.

Cloud Computing is bringing us many very cool things. One of the best things the Cloud can do, most people don’t even know about yet. That will change very soon. The era of the Free Cloud Desktop is almost here.

Desktops are one of the next big things moving to the Cloud. There are fantastic benefits that Cloud Based Desktops can deliver including accessibility from anywhere there is an Internet device, increased privacy, lower costs, flexibility and improved security.

The best thing about Cloud or Virtual Desktop technology is that these Desktops are going to be available for free. At least there will be Free Virtual Desktops available with some limitations, likely to be based on standard and familiar Free Web Service models. These Free Cloud Desktops may have usage limits, embedded advertising, trial versions, etc. For the foreseeable future there will be many flavors for you to choose from. That is always good news for the consumer.

There are a number of Free Virtual Desktop offerings being developed today. This is just the start of a really big trend that has been building for over a decade.

The main reason why you should care is that until now, your desktop has been oriented to your PC or Mac and you had to go to a specific machine to get to your stuff. With a true Cloud Desktop, your desktop, and your stuff, will actually come to you and be available everywhere you want it, anytime you need it.
